The Missouri Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin a major intersection improvement project at U.S. Route 169 and Riverside Terrace starting Monday, March 2. The construction will shift the roadway north and realign local entrances to improve driver sight distance, requiring a full closure of Route 169 between Route AC and Southeast 70th Street. A signed detour using Route 31, U.S. 36, and I-29 will remain in place until the project’s anticipated completion in December 2026.
