A woman and man wanted on felony warrants were taken into custody Wednesday morning after a brief standoff at an apartment building near 16th and Faraon Streets. The suspects reportedly fled from a vehicle and burrowed through the ceilings and walls of the building to reach a neighboring unit before being discovered hiding in a bathroom. While the building sustained property damage during the pursuit, authorities report no injuries were sustained, and additional charges for fleeing are expected.
