Last week, The Maryville Forum reported Nate Blackford, president of Mosaic Medical Center –Maryville announced his resignation effective Oct. 30. Blackford told The Forum it was a difficult decision and he would be pursuing other career opportunities.

Area schools name Homecoming Royalty
Homecoming royalty were crowned at several area high schools over the weekend. Nodaway-Holt named Preston Jenkins and Paige Hanson as homecoming king and queen. West Nodaway’s homecoming royalty included Collin Kinsella as king and Savanna Marriott as queen. For Maryvillle, Darren Dwight and Caroline Pohreb received their crowns.
