The Clearmont City Council addressed key infrastructure needs at its recent meeting, focusing on the city’s water system and necessary road work. A water quality report showed samples were free of bacteria, though the council discussed needed repairs for a pivot pump and a new schedule for annual hydrant flushing. Additionally, the council plans to have utilities marked at two Highway 71 intersections and will repair a deteriorating ditch on West North Street.
