Drivers in Nodaway County should prepare for widespread highway maintenance and potential traffic delays through early August. Resurfacing projects on U.S. Routes 71 and 136 will reduce traffic to a single lane with width restrictions, while Route VV remains fully closed at the Platte River Bridge through December. Crews are also scheduled to perform short-term shoulder and drainage work across several state routes, including temporary daily closures on Festival Road on July 28th and 29th.
