Authorities in Platte County, Missouri, have temporarily suspended their manhunt for 37-year-old Michael A. Hull due to dangerous, extreme heat. Hull is wanted on an outstanding felony warrant after fleeing a weekend traffic stop, which resulted in a minor injury to a Weston police officer. Following a 12-hour search that prompted local school closures and involved multiple agencies, law enforcement paused their ground efforts in the heavy brush south of the city but will maintain a strong presence in the area. Officials believe Hull may be armed and are urging anyone who spots him to immediately contact 911 or the Platte County Sheriff’s Office.
