Notably, the Route VV Platte River Bridge near Conception is scheduled to close this Monday for a replacement project lasting through early November. Additionally, ongoing resurfacing projects will narrow traffic to one lane with width restrictions on U.S. Routes 71 and 136 in both Nodaway and Atchison counties. Motorists in Andrew and Gentry counties should also prepare for minor delays due to concrete repairs, resurfacing, and temporary lane reductions.
