The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced highway maintenance and construction plans for Nodaway and surrounding counties for the week of July 20. In Nodaway County, drivers will encounter lane restrictions and 10-foot width limits along U.S. Routes 71 and 136 due to ongoing resurfacing, while Route VV remains closed at the Platte River Bridge for deck replacement. Neighboring areas will also see impacts, including resurfacing along U.S. Route 136 in Atchison County, Route P in Gentry County, and a one-day closure on Route 120 in Holt County on July 21.
