North Central Missouri College is bringing its teacher education program to the Savannah campus starting in fall 2026, giving future educators in rural areas a closer, more convenient path to the classroom. The Associate in Arts in Teaching degree allows students to complete their foundational courses and field experiences locally before transferring to a four-year university for their bachelor’s degree and certification. Designed to help meet the region’s growing demand for passionate teachers, the program is currently accepting applications from recent graduates, paraprofessionals, and career-changers at ncmissouri.edu.
