After three decades of covering Nodaway County, the Nodaway News Leader has announced it will shut down its newspaper operations on December 31. Publisher Kay Wilson reflected on the publication’s legacy of reporting on local government and community achievements since its founding in 1996. While the newspaper is closing, Wilson plans to continue operating Rush Printing Company at the same location. Subscribers with plans extending into 2026 can now contact the office to request a refund.
