The YMCA has officially begun construction on the Mid-America National Aquatic Center, a year-round facility designed to host competitive swim meets and community wellness programs. The center will feature a 50-meter Olympic-sized pool and a separate temperature-controlled multipurpose pool equipped with zero-entry access for rehabilitation and youth instruction. Supported by a wide range of private donations, the project is slated for completion by the fall of 2027.
