An 18-year-old male was hospitalized with injuries after a vehicle he was driving at a high rate of speed crashed near South Noyes Boulevard and Renick Street in St. Joseph on Wednesday, June 11, around 9:00 p.m. Witnesses reported the vehicle was traveling at excessive speeds before the accident. The driver was extricated from the wreckage and transported to Mosaic Life Care before being transferred to Truman Hospital in Kansas City, as the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
