Afternoons With Don

After working in Elko Nv. Jefferson City Mo. Carrollton Mo. I took a job in 2010 at Nodaway Broadcasting here in Maryville MO, for about 7 yrs as an afternoon DJ on KVVL and production manager. In 2017 Sandy and I left to help help our kids in Colorado and eventually worked for a year in Page AZ before having an opportunity to return in 2018, this time permanently! We purchased a house and Sandy once again made it a home. After the station changed hands I anchored the breakfast Club morning show on KNIM with co-hosts Trish Ellis and later Holly Cronk! It was a great 2 1/2 years. I retired August 2nd 2024 and Aug 2nd is proclaimed that day as Don Burch day in Maryville. (So Cool). I decided to return Jan 1st 2026 M-F 3-7 on 97.1 KVVL. It’s where I started here and feels good to be back. My wife and I love living in Maryville and will call it Home for the rest of our lives!
