Mothers Against Drunk Driving is partnering with local first responders and Reed Chevrolet in St. Joseph to host “Drive for Change,” a free public event aimed at discouraging impaired driving. Taking place on Saturday, August 8th, the gathering features educational activities including a driving simulator, a “touch-a-truck” program, and “drunk goggles” to demonstrate the effects of alcohol on coordination. Attendees can also participate in a silent auction and raffle, with all proceeds benefiting MADD Missouri and the Keri Anne DeMott Foundation.
