Missouri Western State University welcomed 755 new undergraduate students for the start of the semester, marking a nearly ten percent increase in new enrollment from last year. The surge represents the university’s first rise in new student enrollment since 2022, driven largely by a nearly fourteen percent boost in incoming freshmen. In addition to growth in popular majors like nursing and business, on-campus housing also saw a spike, with freshman residency up more than twenty-eight percent.
