The St. Joseph City Council has greenlit a series of infrastructure improvements, including nearly $400,000 to repair the deteriorating Krug Park waterfall. Council members also approved additional funding for ADA-compliant concrete replacements at Felix Street Square and safety-focused demolition work at the Fourth and Felix Street parking garage. In other business, the council honored the legacy of a local aspiring teacher who recently passed away from cancer by officially proclaiming September 13th as Emilee Mae Bibb Day. The council will hold its next meeting on September 28th, as their mid-month session was canceled for the annual Missouri Municipal League Conference.
