A water main break at West 16th Street and Country Club Road has prompted a precautionary boil advisory for residents in northwest Maryville. Although city officials say there is no evidence of contamination, the advisory was issued following a temporary loss of water pressure in the area. Affected customers are advised to boil tap water for at least three minutes before consumption until laboratory testing confirms the water is safe.
