St. Joseph’s Central High School has officially announced the hiring of Ricky Barbosa as the new head coach for the boys’ basketball team. Barbosa brings years of experience to the role, having previously led a Virginia high school program to a conference championship and coached extensively in elite AAU circuits. He takes over the program from Jacob Kimble, who departed this spring to coach the Platte County girls’ basketball team.
