Legislation to designate America’s National Churchill Museum in Fulton, Missouri, as a National Historic Landmark has officially passed Congress and is now heading to the president’s desk. The museum is located on the Westminster College campus, where Winston Churchill delivered his famous “Iron Curtain” speech 80 years ago in 1946. Following its passage in the House earlier this year, the bill received unanimous approval in the Senate and also directs the National Park Service to conduct a special resource study of the site.
