The Missouri Department of Transportation is inviting residents to discuss the planned replacement of the Route 118 bridge deck over Interstate 29 in Mound City. An open house will be held on October 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mound City Middle School, allowing locals to ask questions and share feedback with project leaders. The bridge upgrade, alongside improvements to nearby I-29 bridge approaches, is scheduled to open for contractor bids in February 2027.
