A 50-year-old driver was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when her semi-truck crashed into a stationary tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 29 near Corning, Missouri. The collision happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. after her vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the parked freightliner on the shoulder, sending both trucks off the highway. Both drivers involved in the crash were transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for medical treatment.
